We originally began serving the employees of the Miami Police Department in 1936. In July 2004 the credit union opened it's membership to include all employees of local law enforcement agencies who work in or are headquartered in Miami-Dade County, Florida. We currently serve employees, retirees and their families of the following Police departments:

Each year we strive to bring you new and improved services which will enhance your life.
We have grown since then from a one person, part-time operation (offering only regular share accounts and loans) into a staff of 15 employees and providing a wide range of financial services. We now serve over 4,700 members and have assets exceeding $42,000,000.00.
Since the United Police Federal Credit Union was created by its founding members on January 13, 1936, we have helped many members better their life. We look forward to serving you in the years to come.
