Become a Credit Union Leadership Volunteer
United Police Federal Credit Union needs leadership volunteers to serve as members of the credit union’s Supervisory Committee.
The Supervisory Committee serves a very important function in providing assurance that an annual audit is performed by an independent accounting firm; reviews internal audit findings; reviews external audit and NCUA exam findings and ensures that management takes necessary corrective action; reviews member complaints and ensures management responds accordingly; ensures a verification of members’ accounts is conducted; ensures the board of directors is safe guarding assets and management complies with their policies and procedures. Reports the credit union’s financial condition annually.
As a member of the Supervisory Committee, you will work closely with the board of directors and management and; meet once a month with board members and management.
